Picture of a couple old Simpson Spring bottles attached for the fun of it. I like the Moxie slogan "enjoy a lift... the healthful way" Anyone else have some pictures?

Picture of Simpson Spring bottles? Have you taken the free tour of the facility? They have all kinds of signs, bottles, the original lab and office are still there.

When we were kids, if I remember correctly, a doctor recommended it to our mother for our upset stomachs. (Too many Waleeco bars and Whoopie Pies.)

After reading the info at this site: http://www.mariettasodamuseum.com/moxie_facts.htm and checking out the original ingredients, small wonder my father thought it was good stuff...not as good as Narragansett beer, but still pretty good! :o)

Simpson Spring Marketplace one Saturday recently had a group of Moxie super fans there and I had a chance to talk to them and taste some Moxie which is still produced. They agreed that the taste was rather nasty originally but the flavor has been improved over the years and you can actually drink it today without feeling like your drinking medicine. Simpson Spring manufactured it for Moxie at one time.

Yes, it is a picture of bottles. I haven't taken the tour since elementary school. I plan on taking my kids sometime. My grandmother always kept a bottle in the kitchen closet which I would sample now and then. The new recipe is more drinker friendly I would say it actually tastes good.

It claims to "recover brain and nervous exhaustion; loss of manhood, imbecility, and helplessness." I think I'll pick up a couple of bottles on my way home.
