I saw this postcard come up on Ebay today. Did you know that Oliver Ames, not sure which one, had a home in Beverly?

News to me to also. I do know many families of means had summer homes in Beverly and Wings Neck(Pocasset) at the turn of the century. The Beverly Yacht club was THE social haunt of the day.
Nice looking cottage!

Doing some quick research on this, I think it is, or was, located in the Beverly Farms - Prides Crossing area of Beverly and was designed by famed architect Ogden Codman. When I get time, I'll dig some more, I'm curious if it's still there, I'll also ask Ed Hands and Frank Mennino
