Once again, many thanks for picturing the past for those of us who lived in and remember the old days! And a grateful thanks to the Ames families for their gracious and generous part in creating and enriching Easton's landscapes.

Burt -- Thanks so much for the photos. They are aweson. I am going to direct my Easton friends across the country to the slide show. Until I was a sophomore in high school, my family lived on Andrews Street, across from Shovel Shop Pond. I know the Ames estates well. Many fond memories. thanks again.

Thank you!

It was a privlege for me to be there and take the photos especially the ones of the grounds which were designed by world famous landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmstead, who also designed places like Central Park in NY.
