Thanks to the Easton Police Department, we can view the entire Police Log for the previous week. I usually receive it on Monday but sometimes there could be a delay of a few days.

Latest:

Easton Police Department
From: 08/30/2010 Thru: 09/05/2010

Burt-
Are police logs archived somewhere?
Also, are you aware if surrounding town police logs are posted? and if so where??

Great job on the boards!

I started to keep and list each weekly log separately but it was causing me too much work so I decided just to keep the latest which is a simple and quick replace. I have a few saved from this past May & June if that's what you're looking for, if not, I can try to get the week you want from the source. As far as other towns, I don't really know but would guess you won't find many. Some newspapers post a sampling but usually not the complete log as we have here. Thanks!

Thanks for the scoop!
I can appreciate the volume of work it can facilitate. I just wanted to know if I could go back and reference any given day, on a sample type basis.
As far as other towns go, NONE of the surrounding ones have a website as comprehensive and dedicated as our little home town!
Thanks again for all your hardwork!

Just so you know, I don't work for the town and this website is not owned by the town. It's possible but would involve a lot of work to pull it all together. It will happen some day but not for a while...

No problem and thanks...

You do have a good question though but the answer is probably ten years away or more before they figure out how to serve the information seamlessly to the public. It's a lot of manual work right now...

The log you want is above...

Aww, it's out. Now they have to dream up a new one.
Sounds like a great place to work.

I wonder if they need an engine lathe operator....

I went through the police log. I want to know why they laid off firemen instead of some police? I know the new sergeant received a hefty wage increase. After looking at the police log two or three incidences a day. Why not cut them instead of our firemen who we desperately need. The subject was on the news last night comparing response time and a women was badly burnt.

I forget the web site that shows each towns response time compared by each year.

If anyone caught the news show please send me the website.

Thanks

How about cutting school personel and teachers before fireman and police officers?

2 Police Officers were laid off, and the Deputy Police Chief position was elminated for a total of 3 in the Police Department.
3 Firefighters were also laid off.

Both sides shared the burden.
