 Bill Mathers fundraising event
The Mathers Family of Easton has conducted a fundraiser for the last 5 years in memory of Bill “Bear” Mathers.

Bill died in a motorcycle crash in 2013 at the age of 57 and left behind many who loved him including: his wife Brenda, son Richard and wife Jennifer; daughter Melissa, daughter Kayla and husband Kevin; grandchildren Jacob, Trevor, Haley, Ava, Hazel, Aiden, Bellah and Farah; and sister Marilyn and husband Stephen.

Bill graduated from Oliver Ames High School in 1973, established a career in the Town of Sharon as the town’s head mechanic and was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus in Easton.

He loved spending time with family, riding his motorcycle, and working on cars

Each year Brenda and her children organize the event which includes a barbecue and motorcycle run in Bills Honor.

They raise funds and have generously donated to area non profits and causes including:

Make a Wish

Easton Knights of Columbus Scholarship Fund

South Eastern Massachusetts Motorcycle Survivor Fund.

Easton Veterans Discretionary Fund

Boston Wounded Veterans Run

Please join the fun this year on July 14th!

There will be food, music, raffles, and of course an optional ride!
